Toulouse-Matabiau ranked among the worst stations in France according to Figaro
Toulouse is not flattered. While wealthy travelers in TGV stations for the Christmas holidays, Le Figaro ranks the worst stations in France. To establish this list, our colleagues from Figaro selected several criteria: the proportion of late TGVs, the average waiting time, as well as an annual survey of passenger satisfaction. Thus, the 50 main stations in France, deserves the value at least one high speed train, have been scrutinized.
Toulouse in 9th position
And if it is the station of Lyon Part Dieu which is the lowest ranked, the Toulouse Matabiau station is in the top 10. Indeed, the enclosure of the pink city is positioned at the ninth place of the classification after analysis of the satisfaction of its users and train delays over the past year.
But Toulouse-Matabiau is not the only city to be singled out for Occitania. Several stations in the region are included in the ranking. Just behind Lyon Part-Dieu, the train station Nimes (Gard) is in second position, closely followed by Montpellier (Hérault) which is third. In fifth is also the station of Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. A bad score for the Occitanie region.
