LES GOTHIQUES: Rouen wins the forceps in the derby
Opposed to their long-time enemies, the Amiens fought a good battle, leading for almost the entire match, but finally bowed after 60 minutes (3-4).
The Gothics enter their match perfectly, even if the first shoot is to the credit of Rouennais Chakiashvili. Florian Sabatier responds in stride, after less than a minute of play. Hostilities are on. The wisp of Dragons, Nesa sneak into the defense and literally comes impale on Buysse (3’30). In the seconds that follow, the first shooter from Rouen is penalized for load with the butt (3’42). It will only take 12 seconds in superiority, so that Lopachuk opens the score of a shoot from the right of the cage in full skylight (3’54: 1-0). After the engagement, romande foul play (4’13). Amiens resists and Lopachuk even misses the opportunity to afford a double, on a well-conducted cons with Boivin, the Belarusian finds Pintaric’s glove.
Successful start to the match
The Amiens scratch a second power play and declare itself effective again. Pretnar takes the shoot in low point, the puck falls in front of the skates of Simonsen, to the left of the corn. The recent world champion does not pray and gives an advantage of two but to the locals (8’13: 2-0). The yellows and blacks lay siege to try to get back into the game and scare each other. Sabatier offers himself an exceptional opportunity to make the break, intercepting a side pass. He goes to challenge Pintaric, tries a dribble, but the cerberus remains solid (9’45). The Dragons are unruly and concedes four prisons in this first third time. The defense of the men of Anthony Mortas deeply relieves his goalkeeper who only conceded 6 tires, while the Samarians are offered 14 lancers. At the very end of the period, Baptiste Bruche find the post, but the puck miraculously falls into the goalkeeper’s gloves. At the end of a successful first act, Amiens returned to the locker room with an advantage of two goals.
Rouen reaction
Back on the ice, the game first takes place in front of Buysse’s cages, without the doorman not being worried. The Dragons struggle to find the loophole, as the two teams find themselves in four field players (25’26). Usually, Simonsen leaves his comrades inferior after a high butt (26’44). As the half hour of play approaches and the Coliseum chants the name of its guardian after a hot situation. The pressure does not fall and Rouen finally finds the back of the net on a shot from the blue, slightly deflected (31’28: 2-1). The yellow wave does not weaken and this second period definitely turns to the advantage of the visitors, in the space of two minutes. Vineyards allows to remember the score, the puck falls on him, and he somehow manages to slip under Buysse’s leggings at the end of its race (33’14: 2-2). Rouen’s reaction was expected, here it is merciless. The Picards, deprived of Matima and Baazzi, are struggling to find a second wind and suffered until the end of the period. Everything has to be redone before the start of the last act.
The Dragons have the last word
On the engagement, Amiens recovers the puck and spins. Boivin carries the puck on the right and center to Lopachuk who only has to push him to the bottom of the net (40’30: 3-2). The break seems to have done good for the Gothic people who are again responding to the present. They can also count on a Buysse of great evenings, which multiplies the high class stops (46 ′, 49 ′). But, by dint of leave the puck in Rouen, they are logically to punish ten minutes from time. Herve send a powerful shot to the skylight to equalize (49’44: 3-3). The game is unbridled a bit, and Amiens can take advantage of counter situations, even if the territorial domination turns to the advantage of Rouen. There are 7 minutes left to play, when Coulaud goes to prison. 36 seconds later, his counterpart Vigners also sits on the bench. 4 against 4, Rouen passes for the first time in front of the scoreboard, thanks to a realization of Tessier (54’29: 3-4). Amiens has about thirty seconds to play in superiority and does not take advantage of it, Lopachuk does not find the frame while the goal had opened. In time of money, Simonsen tries to create the feat, but his shoot is stopped by the intractable Pintaric. The score remains there.
After having delivered a good battle, the Gothics must finally bow at the end of the match (3-4). It is only a postponement, since the Amiens are moving Wednesday evening on the Rouen ice rink.
