This is particularly the case for Auchan, Monoprix, Monop ‘rue Matabiau, Carrefour Market, Express (rue des Tourneurs, des Filatiers, du Taur …), City (rue Matabiau, de Bayard, Paul Vidal stores, etc.) , Nicolas Bachelier …). They will offer festive baskets at reduced prices composed of an assortment of holiday products from December 26th. Depending on the products sold available, they may contain foie gras, salmon, Advent calendars, chocolates or even delicatessen products.
An initiative launched last year by Too Good To Go
Independent traders are also taking part in this initiative. The people of Toulouse can indeed buy festive baskets in the Maison De Oliveira, Au Petit Paradis, Secrets de Pain and La Boulange bakeries, but also at the tea room. Perlette. Too Good To Go had had the idea of these festive anti-waste baskets last year to save the holiday season products. It has fought for several years against food waste. This application effectively allows its users to collect income at low prices in the form of baskets in bakeries, restaurants or supermarkets in their city. In all, it has been aggravated more than 11 million times in France. Too Good To Go believes it has saved 32 million baskets since its launch in June 2016, thanks to its network of 23,000 merchants.
