A TER liO was stopped this Tuesday, December 21 on the track south of Toulouse, between Portet and Muret, in the direction of Pau following a material failure. Train traffic between Toulouse and Pau has been severely disrupted since 6am.
A hardware failure forced a TER LiO to stop in the middle of the track this Tuesday, December 21, around 6 a.m., at the exit of Toulouse, near Muret. The reasons for the incident are not yet known. But the frost and the ice “could be” at the origin of the incident according to the SNCF.

Traffic disrupted between Toulouse and Pau
Traffic is still possible on the Pau-Toulouse axis but is completely interrupted in the other direction, on the Toulouse-Pau axis. For the time being, according to the website of the railway company, delays of 50 minutes are expected for TER departing towards Pau.
Technicians are currently on site: they are trying to find the origin of the failure and repair it. “The incident should not impact the other lines and should be concluded in the morning», Reassures the SNCF.
