Capitals and Ljubljana stay tuned to Salzburg
The Vienna Capitals and Olimpija Ljubljana remain on the heels of leaders Salzburg in the ICE Hockey League. The Caps prevailed on Sunday at home against Bolzano 5: 3, the Slovenes got the upper hand at the VSV with 4: 3 and are still in second place ahead of the Capitals. For the KAC, however, it set a 1: 4 home defeat against the Graz 99ers.
In Linz, the Black Wings slipped their first seventh win of the season in the last second. In the basement derby against the Dornbirn Bulldogs, the home side quasi conceded the balance to 4: 4 with the final whistle by Kevin Hancock. Marcel Zitz made the decision about overtime. Linz went off the ice as a loser for the seventh time in a row.
