Like all French clubs engaged in Champions Cup (except Castres), the Toulouse stadium is at a standstill this weekend. The health situation related to Covid-19 having forced the EPCR to postpone or cancel all Franco-British meetings, the Stadists will not welcome the English from the wasps, this Sunday (4:15 p.m.) at the Ernest-Wallon stadium.
Despite the shock being reported at a later date, the club reigning European and French champion has decided to honor the values of solidarity and generosity conveyed by rugby.
Meals from partners donated to charities
Indeed, Stade Toulousain has made gift of edibles commissioned for this meeting from two charities: the Toulouse Food Bank and its region and the Catholic Relief. “With the participation of Esprit Traiteur, they will benefit from the food initially planned for the partners“, Explains the Haut-Garonnais club.
Despite the report of #STWAPS, the Stadium donates the edibles ordered for the match, to the @ banquealim31 and at @caritasfrance ??

Stade Français and Racing 92 do the same
Note also that the French stadium and the Race 92 decided to do the same by reversing the meals planned for their partners at the People Relief, following the cancellation of the matches against Bristol and the Ospreys, counting for the 2e Champions Cup day. Congratulations to the leaders of Toulouse, Paris and racing men for these initiatives full of generosity and mutual aid!
