Two games postponed – The BSV is spared the corona chaos
The BSV is spared the corona chaos
Of three scheduled games in the national handball league A, only one took place – that of the Bernese. These defeated Geneva 29:22.
You have to deal very intensively with BSV Bern and its youth department so that you know the players who die because they end up on the field. In the end, coach Martin Rubin almost exclusively uses young players against Geneva – because the list of injuries has become even longer, yes, but above all because the game has been decided and many talents die who completed the line-up should have played their minutes. For the hosts, it is the perfect end to an encounter that for a short time they did not even know whether it would take place at all.
The other two planned National League A matches were canceled after several corona cases among the teams involved. So that BSV – Geneva could be carried out, the participants had to be tested again.
Advance to 4th place
Anxious moments were rare in the game. Rubin’s team never shone, but the field never went below a certain level, which is why the French-speaking Swiss who had no points had no real chance of victory. The Bernese won 29:22. They now occupy 4th place.
