HC TIWAG Innsbruck will meet the Moser Medical Graz99ers tomorrow, Friday, for the first time this season. Finally fans are allowed again in the TIWAG arena. The Haie have recently found their way back on track, seven points from the last three games are impressive, the Tyroleans have climbed back to fifth place in the table. The Haie also want to top up their points account against the 99ers tomorrow, but head coach Mitch O’Keefe warns of the Grazers: “They played very, very well recently and this season beat teams like Salzburg, Vienna, Bozen, Villach and Fehervar, among others . As always in this league, it will be a fight lasting 60 minutes or more. We have to be ready for that, ”said the coach.
The 99ers started the season with mixed results, but got better and better. Most recently, the Graz team moved up to ninth place in the table and celebrated two wins in a row (VSV and Fehervar).
Finally fans again
After the “ghost games” caused by lockdown in the last few weeks, fans can finally go back to the stadium tomorrow. The 2G rule applies to everyone. Spectators must either have been vaccinated or have recovered and can prove this accordingly.
