Toulouse: customs dog discovers 650 g of cannabis
During an operation Tuesday in the Bagatelle district in Toulouse, the police discovered 650 g of cannabis in an apartment. The tenant and three people present were arrested.
The police carried out a public road operation late Tuesday morning in the Bagatelle district in Toulouse. The staff of the specialized field brigade and the Left Bank anti-narcotics unit participated in this control. For the occasion, they had received the support of a specialized customs dog.
The “stroll” upstairs did not take long to arouse the attention of the canine reinforcement who marked the door to a home. The police obtained the opening of this apartment where the official tenant is, a 50-year-old man, but also a 24-year-old individual and two minors.
The search of the premises enabled the dog to mark various caches. The police eventually discovered 500g of resin and 150g of herbal cannabis. The four people were arrested and taken into police custody. Quickly, the investigations made it possible to rule out the responsibility of the two minors and the 24-year-old suspect. They were left free after the usual checks.
The tenant of the premises, suspected of playing the role of nanny for some dealers in the neighborhood, saw his police custody extended.
