Rental housing: 125 million euros not built – the state of Salzburg is at a dead end
The misery in rental housing continues. Criticism of the SPÖ is guaranteed. The coalition is struggling to find a way out – so far, of course, in vain.
On Wednesday, the SPÖ will again submit an urgent request for the development of housing subsidies in the Salzburg state parliament. For the Social Democrats, the issue of the penalty is simply the issue. Because for years the state government has not even managed to exhaust the money earmarked for rental housing. The SPÖ lists the rental apartments that have been missing since 2018 and the money that has not been used meticulously and comes to a total of around 125 million euros, which have not been built for four years.
