Jürgen Klopp with a brisk saying

Liverpool FC was also affected by the curiosity surrounding the draw for the round of 16 in the Champions League. Jürgen Klopp takes the new, supposedly more difficult lot calmly – and reacts cheekily.
Liverpool FC and Inter Milan have one thing in common in the course of the botched Champions League draw that they were assigned supposedly more feasible opponents in the first lottery.
Liverpool would have drawn RB Salzburg, Inter would have met Ajax Amsterdam. The Reds are now dealing with a real international chunk. Trainer Jürgen Klopp takes note of it with the necessary composure.
“I had to wait 54 years to play in San Siro for the first time … and now it will be the second time within three months,” said Klopp in response to the draw and the new opponent Lips.
Milan instead of Salzburg too – no problem for Klopp: “Everything is good. Of course it’s a tough lot, no question about it. You are leaders in Italy – a good team in good shape. We’ll see how things stand when we meet Meet in February. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to it. “
In the past, Liverpool have always been superior to Inter. In 2007/08, the Reds won the Champions League round of 16 twice (2-0, 1-0). In the 1964/65 Cup of National Champions, Liverpool saw themselves in the final after 3-1 in the first leg, but then lost the second leg 3-0 and eliminated.
