Tony Crocker completes the solid run art Strasbourg

Tony Crocker has been released from his contract with SIG Strasbourg, the team announced on Sunday evening.
Crocker, 34, was added in early October to replace injured Jarell Eddie in the roster. The latter should be included in the team’s training next week and get on track to officially launch his second stint at the French club. He was due to miss two to three months due to a lower back injury.
The former Oklahoma star, with the experience of a long European career spanning from Hungary, Finland, Greece and Israel to Turkey and Russia, recorded 8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and one steal per game in his first four Champions League basketball appearances. He added 10.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and one assist per game in eight appearances in France Betclic Elite LNB Pro A, including seven points and five assists in today’s home victory over the ‘AS Monaco.
Eddie, 30, arrived after recovering from an injury, meets the team coached by Lassi Tuovi in the expectation of discovering his opponent in a play in best of three series after the BCL regular season. His side will finish second in Group F to secure home advantage with a win or loss by a margin of five points or less against Filou Oostende at Rhenus Sport on December 21.
Nationally, Strasbourg at 7-3 ranks third behind the Metropolitan 92 (10-1) and Monaco (8-3). Upcoming, an away game against Paris next Saturday, three days before the game against Ostend.
