Sweden will help create a technological revolution in Pakistan
A high-level delegation of the Swedish technology company, under the leadership of Sweden’s Ambassador to Pakistan His Excellency Henrik Persson visited the office for it Authority for Special Technology Zones (STZA) in Islamabad. The Chairman of STZA Amer Hashmi warmly welcomed the delegation.
According to details included in the delegation Rana Ehteshamul Haq, President and CEO of Saab, Aamir Ahsan Khan, President of Ericsson Pakistan, Mr. Najeeb Ahmad, President and CEO of Hitachi Energy Pakistan, Mr. Awaish bin Nasim, CEO of Tetra Pak Pakistan.
Faraz Zafar, CEO of LCC Pakistan, Syed Muhammad Faisal, Country Manager for ABB Power and Automation, Zibber Mohiuddin, CEO, Panasian Group, Naveed Iqbal, Head of Business Development, Dynamic Group, Murtaza Khalil Hassan, CEO of MILVIK BIMA Pakistan and Mr. Muhammad Zakaria from United Marine Agencies also attended.

Consequently, STZA hosted an extensive information session for the Swedish delegation to inform them of the agency’s mandate, milestones and objectives, including an explanation of the ongoing projects under the national development plan.
As a result, the Swedish delegation, which included representatives of the leading Swedish companies operating in Pakistan, showed great interest in the special technology zones (STZs) developed by STZA during the interactive question time.
It is important that the visit increased the understanding between the Swedish technology industry and STZA. In addition, it will be manifested in future collaborations in areas such as technical research and development, development of human capital and skills development, etc.

STZA is committed to renewing Pakistan’s IT infrastructure

Last month, a high-level delegation from the global venture capital firm 500 Global Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) visited Islamabad to meet with STZA Chairman Mr. Amer Hashmi and his team.
To clarify, the 500 Global is one venture capital companies who early invests in founders who build fast-growing technology companies. Therefore, Pakistan invited the company to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
As a result, both parties agreed to work together to identify and explore areas of mutual interest in promoting innovation and promoting a technology-driven knowledge ecosystem.
