Toulouse. The meetings of the Orchester du Capitole in January –
The year 2022 will open with a beautiful tribute to the great repertoire, under the passionate baton of Maxim Emelyanychev who will invite us on a journey through romantic Germany, from its classical roots with Mozart to its heyday signed by Schumann.
By his side, the violinist Aylen Pritchin Perform one of the most famous romantic concertos: Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
The 3rd concert of the Happy Hour series, intended to introduce visitors to the great symphonic repertoire, will then invite the Polish conductor Marta Gardolinska. Under her baton, flautist Joséphine Poncelin de Raucourt and harpist Mélanie Laurent will put
their talent at the service of Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp, one of the composer’s most emblematic works.
Two family concerts allow the youngest to take their first steps with a symphony orchestra. The ÉCLATS children’s choir will perform in particular excerpts from the music for the film Les Choristes, as well as songs from around the world, under the baton of Pieter-Jelle de Boer.
Then place the witches and monsters who will take possession of the orchestra and blow on it a great wind of magic, thanks to the wand of Christophe Mangou.
