Marcel Hirscher: “I think you should go skiing in Austria”
The skiing legend from Tennengau would like more support for young skiers in popular sports.
As a ski racer, he was the measure of all things. Marcel Hirscher from Tennengau won the Ski World Cup eight times in a row. He celebrates 67 World Cup victories, standing on the podium 137 times in the World Cup races. The two-time Olympic champion was also five-time individual world champion and two-time team world champion. Now, in his new role as a ski producer, he also has drawn plans. His skis, called Van Deer, are available for the slopes, but also for freeriders, as touring and children’s skis. 1500 of these alpine means of transport will be produced this year. …
