A blood collection is organized on the premises of the Ernest-Wallon stadium, a Toulouse, this Friday, December 10, 2021, between 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m..
Blood stocks are very low
This is the second collection organized this year in the den of red and black. The result of a partnership between the French Blood Establishment and the Toulouse Stadium launched this year.
“In this somewhat difficult period, the Stadium has chosen to invest by our side and support us”, we detail on the side of the French Blood Establishment Occitania. A welcome support, all the more so at the end of the year when stocks are at their lowest.
“Our stocks are down: to date, we have 11.5 days of reserve in Occitania. This corresponds to 7,000 pockets. Our objective is 9,000 pockets.”
Attract new donors
With an operation like this this Friday at Ernest-Wallon, the French Blood Establishment hopes to convince new order givers, successful by the original framework of the blood collection.
“It had worked very well during the previous collection,” says the French Blood Establishment.
Players present
During this first collection organized in July, players from Toulouse stadium had made the trip to meet donors. “We do not yet know if some of them will be present for the collection on Friday, December 10,” concedes the EFS.
The collection takes place in the Prairie filter room, with a bird’s eye view of the lawn of the Ernest-Wallon stadium. Please note, while the presentation of a health pass is not usually required to donate blood, the Toulouse Stadium requires it to all visitors entering its facilities: a valid one must therefore be presented to enter the den. Red and Black this Friday.
