The true story of Saint Lucia told at the Modus Theater in Verona
Grandmother Ida, a dear friend of Saint Lucia, and her helper Brush they will tell the story of the Saint most loved by children at the Modus Theater of Verona from tomorrow to Sunday.

“AND December 13 many years ago. A special girl is born in a province of the great Roman Empire: her name is Lucia ». Thus begins our show, that traces the life of Lucia first earthly, then in Heaven and finally in the myth and collective imagination that tradition gives us, much celebrated in Verona but also embracing other areas as far as Sweden. The show tells and explains, fascinates and captivates. But it will also make children and parents reflect on what will be the gifts that Saint Lucia will bring, raising awareness on careful, non-consumerist choices.
There will be on stage Grandmother Ida, a dear friend of Saint Lucia, who tells her story and will recite poems and nursery rhymes. Grandma Ida will be accompanied on stage by Pennelletto that while she tells, armed with palette and brush, he will paint the characters and the things narrated on his easel (Lucia as a young man, San Pietro, the donkey, the Castaldo, the bell, the sweets, the candies, the toys and so on) and then show them to the public in accordance with the timing of the narration.
