Polar Bear Of Sweden is based on a green promise for the FW22 season
Isbjörn of Sweden continues its commitment to sustainability for autumn / winter 2022, with an updated range that is “97 percent bluesign-certified.”
Polar Bear was one of the first outdoor brands for children and teenagers to become a bluesign system partner and continues to build on the company’s green promise to use only sustainable fabrics and manufacturing processes. Its design team takes care of fine-tuning existing products to make them more durable and durable, and the brand’s latest range is 100 percent fluorocarbon-free and uses 100 percent recycled PrimaLoft insulation.
The brand’s hard and padded products are treated with a Bionic Finish Eco water-repellent, which does not release fluorocarbons into the atmosphere. The company also uses 100 percent recycled PrimaLoft insulation, made from recycled plastic bottles, but does not compromise on thermal performance.
Its hard and padded products have growing cuffs on the arms and legs, which become 3 cm long to grow with a child, before being passed on to younger children for reuse.
“I say it again, the outstanding durability of our products is our silver ball to achieve reusable technical performance over and over again. Doubling and even tripling the life of a garment reduces its environmental impact by more than half, says Selma Jakobsson, Production and Sustainability Manager, Isbjörn of Sweden.
