Arab sheik hotels in Portugal move to Vignette and Voco – Tourism & Leisure
The JJW Hotel & Resorts (JWW) group, owned by Arab Sheikh Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber, entered into an agreement with the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) which includes a transfer from its two five-star hotels in Portugal to a collection of vignettes, a new luxury brand from what is one of the largest hotel groups in the world.
In addition to these two Algarve hotels, the Penina Resort & Golf and the Dona Filipa Hotel, acquired under franchise contracts – to which the Grand hotel Viena, in Vienna, capital of Austria – is added, according to IHG Hotels & Resorts with JJW It also includes the Aparthotel Formosa Park, which will take on the name Voco, another brand in the IHG universe.
