According to the complaint of the Association of Teachers P.E. “Aristotle”, the mother threatened with vulgar expressions of a teacher and then brutally attacked him. The incident happened during the operation of the school and while students and teachers were at the school.
“The incident is shocking for its savagery as despite the efforts of the teacher and the principal to stop the mother, she continued with rage,” says the teachers’ association and points out that this is not the first time that teachers have fallen victim to such attacks.
“Any aggressive behavior that offered the honor and dignity of teachers is condemnable,” the teachers emphasize.
In detail, the complaint of the Association of Teachers P.E. “Aristotle” for the attack of a parent on a teacher:
“We were surprised to learn that last week a mother entered our club and after she literally had a colleague in the director’s office, where she was also present, she harassed and threatened him using vulgar expressions and then brutally attacked him. . The incident happened during the operation of the school and while students and teachers were in their physical space, at the school. The incident is shocking for its savagery as despite the efforts of the colleague and the director to stop the mother, she continued with rage.
We unequivocally denounce the violent attack that our colleague unnecessarily received. Such behaviors that violate human dignity and physical integrity have no place in the ideals and values of education. They are absolutely condemnable. This is not the first time teachers have been attacked in this way. Any aggressive behavior that offends the honor and dignity of teachers is reprehensible and is in fact a direct attack on public education, especially when it occurs within the school environment during lessons.
Such an attack disrupts the peaceful and pedagogical climate of the school by sowing fear and insecurity in students and teachers.
Against the existing problems (pandemic, zero protection measures, contractions and mergers of departments, shortages with teacher gaps, school categorization, evaluation, etc.) our weapon is the solidarity and the common struggle of teachers, parents, students, employees and youth . . “The struggle to keep the public and free school of education and democratic freedom standing against the social cannibalism that is discovering from the darkest times of the working middle ages.”
