“Russian version” took the Grand Prix in Zlatoust
The best dancers of the Siberian and Ural regions gathered at the All-Russian competition of modern choreography and pop dance “Eurasia – a chance”. It took place from 26 to 28 November in Zlatoust. Kopeysk presents the exemplary collective ensemble of contemporary dance “Russian version”.
– When the results were announced to us that we became laureates of the 1st degree, we were already just happy. And we sit and wait. And it turns out that we were not announced in another nomination, we did not understand, we thought they forgot about us. But it turned out that at the end they also presented the Grand Prix. And such a high title was received by us – our team, – says Yana Kakhikalo, the head of the Russian Variant team.
– We approach each competition very seriously. We have 5-hour rehearsals. Children of a high standard came and of course we were worried. When such a serious competition is even just interesting to participate in it, to compete, to show ourselves, and we showed ourselves at a good level. And they took the main prize of the Grand Prix, for us it is very honorable, – says Elena Mayer, head of the Russian Variant team.
There were groups from Chelyabinsk, Zlatoust, Krasnoyarsk and other cities. The members of the Russian Variant collective are proud of their victory and share their impressions of the competition.
– Before this competition, the girls and I said that we must try, we must rehearse everything so that everything is clean, so that everything is good, – says Anna Shishkina, a member of the “Russian version” team.
– It was unforgettable, we ourselves did not expect from ourselves that we would take the Grand Prix and 1st place, there were many good opponents, – Yana Lukina, a member of the Russian Variant group, shares her impressions.
– When we went, we were very worried. We didn’t even think that we would be given a participant diploma, – says Sofya Mukhamedyanova, a member of the “Russian version” team.
– Before performing, we were very worried, but Yana Evgenievna and Elena Olegovna supported us, and said that everything will work out, everything will be fine, – says Anastasia Yuklyaevskikh, a member of the “Russian version” team.
Winning such a prestigious competition is in itself the main award for girls. In addition, they were presented with two soft bean bags, thermoses and certificates.
– We thought for a long time whether to go there or not. We are very grateful to the administration of our palace for providing this opportunity. Because this is always also the financial side, when we participate in a competition, we need to find funds for a bus, participation, – says Yana Kahikalo, the head of the Russian Variant team.
Next year the competition will celebrate its 25th anniversary. “Russian version” again to take part in it and confirm their title of the best dance group.
