According to the police, the trio was to cover and profit from the production of illegal cigarettes in Slovakia. Rajecký was abroad after the accusation and, according to his lawyer, to avoid criminal proceedings. However, as he did not return from abroad for the purpose of the investigation, the courts issued an international arrest warrant for him.
Five months later, searchers found him in Spain, where he was detained by Spanish investigators and ended up in extradition custody.
As found by the noviny.sk portal, Rajecký is escorted to Slovakia on Friday morning and they use a government special to transport the accused. The arrival of the plane is ready for late noon.
Subsequently, a judge of the Specialized Criminal Court will decide on the prosecution of Rajecký in Slovakia. In addition to dealing with cigarettes, Rajecký is also accused of providing information to an unauthorized person in the case of the prosecution of former President Andrej Kisk. According to the police, Rajecký was to provide information on the investigated criminal activity of the ex-presidents of KTAG to one person from the media environment.
Rajecký was also in one photo with Piť and Boris Kollár in front of the parliament.
