Record number of corona vaccinations in Salzburg last week
That is around 10,000 vaccinations more than in the previous record week and quickly ten percent of the total population, the country announced in a broadcast.
Strongest Corona vaccination week in Salzburg
On Saturday there were around 4,000 and on Sunday again more than 800. This is the strongest vaccination week to date. The state of Salzburg, together with the Red Cross and the Salzburg Medical Association, is pursuing two goals, it continues: Bringing the vaccination rate to at least 80 to 85 percent as quickly as possible and refreshing the protection of as many Salzburgers as possible this year.
Number of first stitches sustainable
A total of more than 52,700 vaccinations were carried out from November 22nd to 28th. From Monday to Saturday there were 51,916, of which 5,071 were first stitches, 5,243 second stitches and a total of 41,602 third stitches. In addition, there were a total of more than 800 vaccinations on Sunday. These figures show that the booster vaccination in particular is currently in high demand, but the number of first stitches is sustained in this first week of lockdown compared to the previous weeks.
