Portugal recorded, this Sunday, 1365 new cases of covid-19 and 13 deaths associated with the disease, according to the latest report by the Directorate-General for Health, released this Monday.
In total, there have been 1,144,342 confirmed cases and 18,430 deaths since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The number of admissions rose for the 23rd consecutive day, with 45 more patients hospitalized with covid-19 than the day before, for a total of 809. Of these, 111 are in intensive care units, seven more than the day before .
According to the bulletin on Monday, over 971 people recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,071,544.
