the exhibition “Côté jardin” extended until May
After five months and ten days spent on the Rocher des Doms, in Avignon, the “Côté jardin” exhibition, offered by Maison Jean-Vilar, should have ended on Monday 14 November. But given the success met, the team of the Jean-Vilar association, in agreement with the City, decided to extend it until May 2022. exhibition, Jean-Pierre Moulères, who will use the same metal supports, at the Rocher , but also at Maison Jean-Vilar (inauguration scheduled for March 2022).
“This photographic walk was imagined outside the walls, while the work was carried out to bring people up to standards for safety and accessibility for people with reduced mobility. More than 480,000 visitors

Through this selection of 32 large and very large format photographs by Agnès Varda, Maurice Costa, Suzanne Fournier, Serge Lido and Boris Lipnitzki, walkers discover the life of the troop, on the garden side and not on the courtyard side. [d’Honneur], with a Vilar in overalls and espadrilles, alone or with “his” actors who rehearse, laugh, have fun… in the Courtyard, the Urban V Orchard, at La Barthelasse, on the Rhône, at Tout-Vent (Entraigues)… This is the opportunity to discover how Vilar transformed Avignon, but also how Avignon shaped the TNP aesthetic.
