Pamiers. Nice Christmas boost for three associations
This year there will be a little more butter in the spinach. The intercommunity council looked last Thursday on solidarity actions for the end of year celebrations. Once again, the Christmas dinner organized by Emmaüs in partnership with three other charities will not be able to take place due to the still worrying health context.
Basically, an envelope of € 2,300 was planned. A number that is not a multiple of three. Never mind, elected officials very quickly extended this budget to € 2,400 to be divided between the Restos du cœur, the Secours populaire and the Red Cross.
“We can give more”
“For a pretty budget like that of our intercommunal, this does not show great generosity! I think we can give more …”, raises Nadine Bories, elected from the opposition in Saverdun. Appamean counterpart son goes on. “Can we perhaps go to 3,000?”, Tries Vice-President Françoise Lagreu-Corbalan.
After provoking hilarity with a joke on the financial director who is sorely lacking in Pamiers – and whose functions are brilliantly performed, to the chagrin of some, by the financial director of the CCPAP – Alain Rochet turns to Jérôme Blasquez. The mayor of Pujols, who holds the purse strings of the community, quietly nods. The president validates. Restaurants, Secours populaire and the Red Cross therefore share € 3,000 to play Santa Claus for the most vulnerable throughout the territory of the intermunicipal association.
