In Genoa, to make peace with drugs and those who use them
Editorial article
The Civil Society confronts Minister Dadone in the self-convened Conference on November 26, 2021 from 10 am to 7 pm.
“60 years after the United Nations Single Convention on Drugs, more than 30 years after the most repressive law in Europe, it is necessary to reverse the course. We reform drug policies on the basis of stock exchanges, putting the health and rights of those who use them first.“
With these objectives, the network for the reform of drug policies is launching an appointment Friday 26th November, before the VI National Conference on drugs convened by the Government on 27 and 28 November 2021: “an “FuoriConference” to go beyond the tests that have already been established for us for some time and now finally on the government table “. They will be at the center of the debate “good practices, tools, concrete results, pragmatic and convenient approaches for all, to make peace with drugs and those who use them, towards an alternative model of social regulation of substance use and health promotion and an alternative system of interventions to the current one repressive, penal and pathological model“. A confrontation with the Minister is expected in the afternoon, Fabiana Dadone, holder of the delegation on drugs. There will be a live webinar and social and web streaming on www.conferencedroghe.it.
The “FuoriConference” will then continue on 27 and 28 November at the Circolo CAP (Via Ariberto Albertazzi, 3r,) with in-depth information and following the proceedings of the Genoa Government Conference. The complete program on https://www.convradroghe.it/.
