“Virage Christophe Revault”. This is the name that the west turn of the Toulouse Stadium should soon wear. A decision that had been announced on France Bleu Occitanie by the president of the club Damien Comolli the day after the death of Christophe Revault.
The inauguration should symbolically take place during the TFC-Le Havre match on February 19, 2022, on the occasion of the 25th day of Ligue 2. Upstream, the club had requested the agreement of the Toulouse Metropolis, responsible for the management of the Stadium. Contacted by The Independent Opinion, the latter confirmed having given agreement in principle. The inauguration of the bend therefore promises to be auspicious.
Christophe Revault has played more than 200 matches with the TFC
By renaming the west turn of the Stadium, the TFC is preparing to pay tribute to its “guardian angel” Christophe Revault. He disappeared on May 6 in Normandy following a peritonitis when he was 49 years old. Six Years Violets Goalkeeper Pendant at the beginning of the 2000’s (over 200 games), he lived and built in the golden age of TFC.
