Innsbruck trade fair will be vaccination center again
Coronavirus
The country’s vaccination center will be moved back to the exhibition hall in Innsbruck. Until Friday, the vaccination center is still in a former hardware store in the Höttinger Au district. Vaccinations are already taking place at the trade fair, as part of a focus campaign by the city of Innsbruck.
The city of Innsbruck initially carried out third-party vaccinations for seniors at the Innsbruck trade fair in autumn. The infrastructure there was then used, among other things, for the current vaccination week without registration, which lasts until Friday.
The state recently had its vaccination center in the former hardware store in Innsbrucker Bachlechnerstraße. They had moved there because the space on the exhibition grounds was limited due to planned events there. Due to the exacerbated corona situation, all trade fairs or other events have been canceled except for further ones. The exhibition hall therefore again offers the country space for the vaccination center. From Saturday, November 27th, the state’s large vaccination center will be back in operation in the exhibition hall in Innsbruck.
Vaccination Sunday already in the exhibition hall
The upcoming Vaccination Sunday will also take place in Innsbruck in the exhibition hall – more on this in the Nationwide Vaccination Sunday on November 28th. There is more space in the exhibition hall and therefore more capacity for coronavirus vaccinations, according to the country.
All appointments that have already been made for the Innsbruck vaccination center will be held in the exhibition hall from next Saturday and no longer in Bachlechnerstraße. Corresponding information should be given to those affected in advance, it said on Tuesday.
