Toulouse: the Ynov Campus group inaugurated its new premises, Place de l’Europe, which accommodate 850 students
Toulouse Ynov Campus, which provides training in digital professions, inaugurated on Friday 19 November its new premises located on Place de l’Europe where 850 students are accommodated.
A huge cubic and fully glazed building of 4000 m2 on four levels, located at 2, place de l’Europe in Toulouse, this is the new headquarters of the Ynov Campus group which, since September, has been welcoming 850 students who come to train in digital professions.
Toulouse Ynov Campus, founded in 2011 in the district of Minimes, settles in Compans-Caffarelli by focusing on a “real place of effervescent life and exchanges between students, professional speakers and companies”.
Invited for the inauguration which took place Friday, November 19, the mayor of Toulouse and president of Toulouse Métropole Jean-Luc Moudenc spoke of the upheaval that the place of Europe is currently experiencing.
“The ambition to be creative and modern”
In particular the project of the real estate company Icade, which led to the transfer “of the leisure center, early childhood services, etc., to the district of Borderouge”, recalled the mayor. Europe’s place is gradually turning into the heart of digital professions.
Manifesto of the sectors in vogue with a strong employability assured to the graduates, if one believes the inaugural speech of the president of the Ynov Lionel Desage group who manages twelve campuses in France (including Paris) and two in Morocco (Rabat and Casablanca). “Digital means 90,000 jobs per year, our group trains 17,000 graduates per year, there is still room,” he said, referring to the capacity of the school which can accommodate up to 1,400 students.
But also professions which are intended to become more feminine, as the vice-president of the Region in charge of higher education Nadia Pellefigue underlined: “I am delighted to see that 20% of women are in digital, they have an ambassadorial role to play in order to go further ”. “We have the ambition to be creative and modern, just like our students”, indicates for his part the head of establishment Damien Hampartzounian.
