Lot-et-Garonne: the night raid of three miners from Agen to Toulouse with stolen cars
Three minors, aged 15 and 17, were arrested during the night from Sunday to Monday by the Agen police. Vehicle theft, night raid between Toulouse and Agen, refusal to comply.
Alerted by their colleagues from the Toulouse anti-crime brigade about motorists who refused to comply, the Agen police had trouble with drivers who were at the very least unscrupulous.
It did not take long for police officials to spot the two vehicles, Sunday through Monday night. Unsurprisingly, the two motorists had other intentions than those of responding to police injunctions. A chase has started. One of the two vehicles was found in an accident near Lafox. The two occupants were arrested in the wake. The other car was also spotted. Empty without the occupant hiding in the vicinity. Not enough since the police managed to apprehend him very quickly.
The three young people arrested are aged, respectively, two 15 years old and one 17 years old.
At gunpoint
It all started a little earlier at the end of the day when they stole a car in Agen. The dishonest are forcibly handed over the keys by the owner, at the threat of a weapon. Then, they sped on Toulouse where they failed the police. On the way back, at Golfech, they tried to find diesel fuel in order to be able to return to Agen. It was there that they stole a second vehicle before leaving for the city prefecture.
Placed in police custody, three minors were heard by investigators to explain the raid. This measure was extended last night.
These young people do not appear to be strangers to the police force. Moreover, one of them was already in custody on Saturday in another case.
