A march to say stop to gender-based and sexual violence is organized this Sunday, November 21, 2021, in Toulouse, at the initiative of All Us Collective 31. The departure will take place at 2:30 p.m., at the top of the Jean-Jaurès alleys.

In the aftermath of the rallies organized throughout France, including a large march in Paris, the organizers therefore questioned all those who want to put an end to gender-based and sexual violence ”to take to the streets.
“We chose to organize the march on a Sunday so that as many people as possible could come”, explains Malika de All of us 31. “Collectives from Montauban, Albi or Castres Join us as well. ”
“We’re tired of counting the dead”
101 women have been murdered by their spouse or ex-spouse since the beginning of the year 2021, the collective So that wants to denounce the inaction of the government.
“We’re tired of counting the dead,” sighs Malika. “Especially since the solutions exist. In Spain, the government has put the means on the table and the number of femicides has fallen by 25%. We must give more resources to justice and the police to better hear the voices of victims. “
Beyond feminicides, the march aims to say stop to all gender-based and sexual violence, including that targeting children. “With this march we will remember that it is our fundamental right to live free from violence. This right is flouted every day with an indifference that stuns us. “
