Yemen will ask Belarus to help return its citizens to their homeland. This instruction was addressed by the Foreign Ministry of this country to its ambassador in Moscow.
The task was to hold a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and interested persons of Belarus in order to ask for cooperation and assistance in identifying the Yemenis who have found themselves in a difficult situation in their organization’s challenges from return. According to the Yemeni Foreign Ministry, there are 8 Yemenis in Belarus, including two women and a child.
It is also reported that the Yemeni embassy in Warsaw sought to establish communication with the Polish border guards, several meetings were held for the persons of the detainees and their health checks were carried out. The number of Yemeni citizens in Poland is nine.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry has asked the Polish authorities to facilitate their return to their homeland.
“Yemeni citizens make up the smallest number of migrants compared to other nationalities due to the lack of direct lines between Yemen and Belarus”, – noted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aimed at ensuring the safety of its people, involved them in calls for illegal policies to prevent the safety of other countries.”, – it says in today’s Foreign Ministry statement.
