Second day at the Leopolda: there is also the mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci
Genoa – There is also the mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci, at the 2021 edition of Leopolda, the political event that the former premier and secretary of Italia Viva, Matteo Renzi, holds every year inside the former Florentine station. The first Genoese citizen participates, in the early afternoon of Saturday, in a debate on administrative issues, and in particular on the guide of the city and the territories, together with colleagues from Milan, Beppe Sala, and from Florence, Dario Nardella.
A presence, that of Bucci at the national showcase of Renzismo, which he also assumes an implicit political meaning: for months there have been rumors of a possible liaison in the municipal elections next spring between the outgoing and re-nominated mayor of Genoa and the reformist group Italia viva, led in Liguria by the deputy Raffaella Paita, very loyal to Renzi. The former regional councilor, now president of the Chamber’s Transport Committee, has never denied the esteem (reciprocated) for Bucci, with whom the institutional dialogue on the issue of transport and infrastructure is solid.
And in the recent past it has opened to the opportunity to support the mayor in the race for reconfirmation in Tursi. Hypothesis that intrigues the mayor, but that has stirred the waters of the center-right coalition, where in particular Brothers of Italy has ruled out the hypothesis of organic alliances with Italia Viva at the municipal authorities. But the hypothesis that Bucci opens the doors of his list to centrist and Renzian exponents – without a list with the symbol of Italia Viva – remains on the table.
