After the failure on the Belarus-Poland border, illegal migrants are said to be able to go through Ukraine and Slovakia. Maps showing the new virtual migration are circulating on social networks.
According to the Polish media, maps written in Arabic showing various routes from Belarus are circulating among migrants on the Belarusian border.
“There is information that unless Belarus manages to cross immigrants across the border into Poland, they will try to direct those people to the border with Ukraine. The border is less guarded, “confirmed Anna Gorczyca, a reporter for the Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza.
Poles also reported the transfer of illegal migrants from the blocked border crossing on Wednesday, which also increased the likelihood that they could move across other routes.
“They have been moved to the large halls where they are at the moment, but the serious thing is that the Ukrainian services are signaling that around 5,000 migrants are close to the Belarusian-Ukrainian border,” the reporter revealed.
Of course, border guards also have maps available on social networks. Poles have therefore increased their attention at the border and, according to calls from the Polish Border Guard, are verifying every signal they receive. They are also focusing more on the already guarded border with Ukraine.
Slovakia has already talked to Ukraine about a possible threat. “It is difficult to say whether these are real chances, whether they would try to continue through Ukraine in Slovakia, through Slovakia and the Czech Republic then to Germany,” Gorczyca said.
Belarus is currently following the current development of the migration crisis and on the internet maps even more closely.
Poles have also published specific districts, they should move further through Slovakia. In the following report, the editor Pavol Sivák will reveal the issues in question.
