“Corona failure”: Salzburg SPÖ calls for special state parliament and announces U committee
The Salzburg SPÖ boss David Egger speaks of “Corona mismanagement” by the state government. He calls for a special state parliament for combating the crisis and sees a committee of inquiry inevitable.
“Now all political forces have to come to one table in order to lead our state of Salzburg out of the Corona mess.” That says SPÖ boss David Egger. “As the largest opposition party and the largest party in Salzburg, we do not want to sit and watch as our state sinks into the pandemic chaos.” He calls on Governor Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP) to finally take the SPÖ’s proposals to fight pandemic seriously.
The SPÖ proposes that non-vaccinated persons should automatically be sent non-binding vaccination appointments, vaccination buses and vaccination routes from Monday to Sunday (!) “We asked for it, Vienna is now doing it, Salzburg is already sleeping again,” said Egger .
Comprehensive large-scale PCR test day for everyone?
He is also envisaging a comprehensive large-scale PCR test day for all Salzburg residents regardless of their vaccination status, which could serve as a breakwater.
The Salzburg SPÖ also sees an investigative committee in the state parliament inevitable. “The population has a right to know how this Salzburg corona mismanagement came about.”
