Verucchio’s veterinarian talks about saving animals: “There are many cases, the situation repeats itself”
Lures contaminate, dogs poisoned and killed, others saved thanks to the prompt intervention of the owners and the diligence of the veterinarians. San Marino has yet to deal with a criminal hand that targets dogs. Among those saved from poisoned baits is the Labrador treated by the Veterinary Center of Villa Verucchio. The distance between the Titan and the city is minimal and the center is well known. Gianluigi Mussoni, owner together with Widmer Mattei, is the veterinarian who saved the Labrador. “It arrived in poor condition but fortunately quickly – says Mussoni, ‘Gloves’ for friends – The dog responded well to the antidote based on atropine and the following day was able to go home on its own paws”.
