Precious Arabian horses: the favorites are Alsa and Bordnica
Two women are famous for being admirers of this horse. Shirley Ann Shepherd, wife of Charlie Watts – drummer of the Rolling Stones, who passed away in August of this year – owns a large herd in Devonshire in England. Another great enthusiast is the entrepreneur Nayla Hayek – president of The Swatch Group -, renowned for being one of the most active breeders in Europe, with 30/40 births per year and owner of over 100 specimens. One of his latest and most “purchases” was during an auction in Poland, where he won an exclusive specimen sold for over 500 thousand euros.

Arabian horse: 27 thousand specimens and a thousand breeders
Noble, elegant, agile, versatile and resistant: these are the adjectives that best breeds the Arabian horse, one of the oldest (and also among the most expensive) breeds in the world whose origin is lost in the legend of bedouin tribe of the desert. With 27,000 specimens and 1,000 breeders, Italy it is one of the European countries that registers the highest number of Arabian horses in its territory and their representation at Fieracavalli aims to highlight the other qualities of this breed through demonstration of piano work. Always recognized as an ideal companion for endurance, thanks to his resistance over long distances, in recent years his intelligence and his brilliant and docile character have also allowed him to establish himself in tourist trekking.
