Doctors hardly see any reasons against CoV vaccination
timeline
There are hardly any medical reasons that speak against a CoV vaccination. That says the spokesman for the resident doctors, Christoph Fürthauer. Allergic reactions are also extremely rare, adds the doctor.
From Monday, stricter rules will apply in Salzburg – from then on there will be a lockdown for unvaccinated people. These tightenings mean that more people are currently being vaccinated than they have been since the summer.
Patients who need chemotherapy can wait for a break in treatment to vaccinate. In rheumatism sufferers, the vaccination can be done after the medication has been administered, says the spokesman for the resident doctors, Christoph Fürthauer.
“Vaccination is important for organ transplant recipients”
There are hardly any medical reasons not to vaccinate at all. Vaccination is particularly important for people who have had organs transplanted or who have serious previous illnesses, says the President of the Austrian Society for General Medicine, the Hallein doctor Christoph Dachs.
Dachs cites one reason not to vaccinate if someone has severe anxiety disorders, for example. In such a case, according to Dachs, patients can receive a certificate from the doctor, which they show – whether it is then also recognized, Lehns from employers or authorities, say doctors. In any case, allergies to the vaccination are extremely rare.
