PAN concerned about hurried discussion and discussion of Portugal 2030
ANDThese positions were conveyed by deputy Nelson Silva at the end of a meeting with the Government in the Assembly of the Republic, in which the general lines of the Partnership Agreement Portugal 2030, the new multi-annual financial framework of the European Union, which will replace Portugal 2020, were displayed.
“We have a series of concerns regarding the increase in transparency in the procedures and procedures that the modernization of public administration, through digitization, would allow. There is nothing in this scope in the partnership agreement”, he warns.
Asked whether he shares with the PSD his criticisms of the short period of public discussion (a maximum of three weeks) of this agreement, the PAN deputy replied in the affirmative.
“There is a very hasty attempt here to move forward with this partnership agreement before the next ones, we think that it has been sidetracked longer ago,” he says, while realizing that the ‘lead’ of the 2022 State Budget soon forced the Government to speed up many processes.
On the positive side, the PAN deputy highlighted “the increase in funding for energy communities and the democratization of energy”, but was surprised that agriculture is not included in this agreement within the climate transition funds.
“There are positive points in this agreement, but much remains to be done, which the Recovery and Resilience Plan itself does not provide,” he summed up.
The Minister of Planning, Nelson de Souza, and the Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Duarte Cordeiro, present the Guidelines for the Portugal 2030 Partnership Agreement, the new multi-annual financial framework of the European Union, which will replace Portugal 2020.
