A small selection: piste tours in Salzburg
A selection of ski tours The Salzburger Land Tourismus Gesellschaft has a secure ski room on its homepage. Note the current information on the season times of the ski areas and the opening and closing times of the slopes!
Flachgau
Here it is Gaißau-Hintersee ski area the classic. If there is enough snow, there are ascent tracks to the Spielberg and Wieserhörndl (from Gaißau) or to the Anzenberg (from Hintersee) from both valley stations.
Tennengau
Russbach: Hornspitz: 3.6 km, 630 m elevation gain (see article for description);
Abtenau: next to the piste on the Karkogel (1.5 km, 400 m ascent).
Snow Space Salzburg
St. Johann: Hahnbaum (1.8 km, 435 m ascent); Two variants lead to the Gernkogel (from Kreistenalm 2.6 and 2.8 km, each 501 m ascent);
Schwarzach: from the ski touring car park Alpendorf-Heizwerk to the Kreistenalm: 2.2 km, 488 m elevation gain; Combination with the tour on the Gernkogel is possible.
Just: from the Topolino I practice lift to “Monte Popolo”: 4.6 km, 776 m elevation gain;
Wagrain: from the Moadörfl valley station along the Rote 8er slope:
5.1 km, 914 m ascent to the Kogelalm.
Obertauern
The most popular tour along the slopes is to the Grünwaldkopf / Seekareck, other routes lead to the Hundskogel and Kesselspitze.
Flachauwinkl / Kleinarl
There are two starting points on the Mooskopf: Beginner lift in Flachauwinkl / Shuttleberg and the Champion Shuttle mountain station in Kleinarl.
Zell am See / Kaprun
Thumersbach: The Ronachkopf (1350 m) has been dedicated to ski tourers for years, the lifts no longer exist, but the slope is groomed.
Kitzsteinhorn: There are two signposted ski touring routes in the ski area: “Eistraum” and “Schneekönigin”.
Rauris
Four ascent routes are marked at the Hochalmbahnen.
