Flick’s Germany squad vs. Liechtenstein + Armenia
The last two games of the German national team are in the 2022 World Cup qualification. On November 11th they receive Liechtenstein and on November 14th they travel to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. However, these games are no longer important for Germany and its World Cup ticket. The DFB team was the first team to secure its place at the 2022 World Cup alongside hosts Qatar.
Nevertheless, the two games are on the program and must be contested. Coach Hansi Flick doesn’t want to show any nakedness against Liechtenstein and Armenia and get the next success. We have the squad he wants to go with in the November 2022 Group J games.
Flawless record for Hansi Flick
Hansi Flick took over from Joachim Löw as national coach for Germany after the 2021 European Championship. Since he has been responsible for the DFB team, one victory after the other has been achieved. Flick’s record is a total of five wins in five games. Even if he was already under a lot of pressure at the beginning due to the bad starting position and had a mixed start, you qualify as the first team in the world for the World Cup in Qatar.
This is exactly how Germany wants to continue in the World Cup qualifying in 2022 and stop the group with two successes. While Liechtenstein as bottom of the group is no longer concerned with anything, Armenia was still fighting for second place and the 2022 World Cup playoffs.
There are no experiments in the DFB selection for November 2021
It’s just over a year until the opening game of the 2022 World Cup. Flick doesn’t have much time for big experiments. Rather, he will try to consolidate his team further, which is why he will not voluntarily renounce a top player in the two meaningless games. With Emre Can, Lukas Klostermann and Timo Werner, three players have to do without due to injuries.
