Two people have tragically died after an incident at Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall near Stockholm, where an ABBA tribute concert was held last night.
Swedish police said a man – who appeared to be in his 80s – fell from the seven-storey concert hall and down into an open foyer below, where he died in the collision. He landed on two people according to the police, one of whom was fatally injured. None of the victims have yet been mentioned.

The incident occurred just 30 minutes before the ABBA tribute act was to go up on stage, where 1,000 people had gathered to watch the band perform.
The hall was immediately closed by the police so that witnesses could be questioned. This is what police spokesman Magnus Jansson Klarin says AFP that police investigated the situation to find out if a crime had occurred.
“We got a call that someone had either jumped or fallen from a great height,” he said, adding that they “currently have no reason to believe that a crime had been committed in connection with the man’s fall.”
The event company MTLive, which organized the tribute concert, wrote shortly after the event on Facebook that everyone was “in shock”.

“Unfortunately, we have to announce that a terrible event has happened. What we do know is that someone jumped [or] fell high on the arena and hit other people. “Right now we do not know much more, everyone is in shock”, they said.
The event occurred yesterday, Tuesday, November 2, just days before ABBA will release its first new music in almost 40 years. Their new album, ‘Voyage’, comes along with a special concert scheduled for next year.
