The annual inflation rate in Slovenia is still rising in October

Consumer prices in Slovenia rose by three percent year on year in October after growing by 2.4% in September, data from the Ljubljana Statistical Office (SORS) announced on Friday.
This was the highest inflation since November 2008, when food and non-alcoholic beverage prices rose (0.3%). The prices of consumer goods for transport (11.7%), housing and communal services (6.7%) and restaurants and hotels (5.2%) also increased.
At the monthly comparative level, prices increased by 0.9% in October, after falling by 0.1% in the previous month.
