As we approach 40 years, Jeremy Flauss keep having fun on the football fields. The striker passed through Mondeville, to CFA, Dives, Hérouville and ASPTT Caen, where he was entitled to a second youth in Regional 1, plays this season with the reserve team of AG Caen in R3. He tells us a small part of his rich journey via our weekly interview. It was Sofiane Naïli, his former partner in the PTT, who appointed him.
The foot and you …
What is your first memory of football?
Beginner tournaments. Your bag, your sandwich, everything is ready the day before. Truly magical!
What has been the best moment of your career so far?
I think it’s the rise in CFA 2 with Hérouville. On a really good season.
What’s the best game you’ve played?
My best match was when I was young with Caen Nord Football against Blackburn Rovers.
Who is the player, as an opponent, who impressed you the most?
Moussa Sow in CFA. He was playing in Rennes, he hurt us very, very badly.
Is there a player you have taken the lead with on the pitch?
Yes, I have often had a few headaches but nothing too bad.
Who is the best player you have played with?
At number 9, Ramzy Tarchoun.
What is the most beautiful but that you have marked?
It’s a club that I really appreciate, I would have liked to score it against another club but it’s a volley against Dives outside the box. Really not bad (laughs).
What gesture would you like to place in a match?
A plunging head 😂
Who do you look like in the game?
Basic, a bit like Dennis Bergkamp.
And physically ?
Now, physically I look more like a referee Or Paul Gascoigne for the older ones.
The celebration you dream of but never will?
A back somersault, too dangerous at my age.
In Normandy…
Who is the soccer bible
Abdel Foughali. He doesn’t throw anything away. All the articles he keeps.
Who is the strongest ?
Charles Masiala, it was really very strong.
Who is the best for the third half?
Jimmy Daigremont, a bottomless hole.
Among your teammates or your former teammates …
Who has the square feet?
I agree with Boris (Coq). Julien Alvarez, when he takes out the screws in 46, you have to flee. A public danger
Who is the most technical?
Yacin Zeroual, dribbling technique above!
Who is the most nag?
Always the same, Alvarez
Who is the most stylish?
Boris Rooster. I saw him warm up in his shirt before a match. Incredible, he has no competition.
Who absolutely needs to review their haircut?
I would say Lucas Conan. Do a dye or make yourself a bald spot, it’s back to fashion here 😂
Who is the funniest?
Dylan Desclos. A phenomenon, a really good guy.
Sofiane Naïli’s question
I would like to know if, as you always told me, do you still think that with 10 kg less you would take my number 10 from me?
There, I admit that I can no longer take your 10 even with 10 pounds less. You’ve reached a real milestone, keep going. But I always teach you to find some passing angles (laughs).
For a next interview
Who do you designate as the next interviewee?
Jimmy daigremont
Do you have a question for him?
I just want to know if you still have a poster of me in your room …
