Months of struggle for midwives
For several months now, midwives have been demanding an increase in their salaries, in line with their status (they represent a medical profession in the same way as dentists or surgeons), their training time (five years) and their field of skills (pregnancy, contraception, prevention, gynecological follow-up). They are also fighting for better working conditions in maternity hospitals in order to be able to better support patients who result in requests for additional posts.
