Toulouse: why so many disruptions on the Tisséo network
Metro line A was interrupted for part of this All Saints Day, only running from Basso Cambo to Jolimont, while line B no longer stops at Jeanne d’Arc station. The T1 tram line is interrupted between Ancely and its terminus at Meett. Explanations.
All Saints’ Day may be the feast of all saints (and not the feast of the dead, which is on November 2) but it was not, this Monday 1uh November, the feast of Tisséo users. Metro line A was temporarily interrupted from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Roseraie and Balma-Gramont stations, due to maintenance work. Scheduled until 5 p.m., this work was completed two hours earlier than announced, which allowed the entire line to be re-established at 3 p.m. The unserved stations were as follows : Roseraie, Argoulets and the Balma-Gramont terminus. Line A was operating normally between the Basso Cambo and Jolimont stations, even if an outage interrupted operation for half an hour in the early afternoon. Relay buses ran every 10 minutes, connecting the Jolimont and Balma-Gramont stations.
Smoke at Joan of Arc
Metro line B has not stopped since Saturday 4:35 p.m. at Jeanne d’Arc station, which is closed for an indefinite period, according to Tisséo. Smoke escaped from an escalator at the platforms on Saturday, October 30, which caused the evacuation of travelers from the station. An incident that is not related to the demonstration taking place in the city center this Saturday, according to Tisséo, an event which however hampered the intervention of the firefighters who came to control the incident and secure the premises. Line B interrupted on Saturday October 30 at 4.35 p.m. resumed normally at 7 p.m. that same day. but, since then, the Jeanne d’Arc station has remained closed in order, initially, to evacuate the fumes and odors and to carry out a possible repair.
No T1 tram
Please note that due to work at Odyssud station, the T1 Tram line is completely interrupted between 6:45 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. until Friday, November 5.
Line T2 operates normally from Palais de Justice to Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and provides service to the Palais de Justice – Arènes – Ancely section of line T1. Bus Relais run between the Ancely and MEETT stations, every 10 minutes.
