It will now be necessary payer to park in the car parks of the clinics of Cedars (Cornebarrieu) and of Low wall. After the Union and Quint, it is in fact two new health establishments that end to free parking. A trend which therefore continues to spread in clinics in Toulouse and its surroundings.
Car suction cups and investments
The suction cups cars, these remaining improperly parked vehicles will be the main cause of these changes. This is one of the reasons that prompted the Cedars clinic to move from free parking to a paid parking. “There are too many wild parking on car parks in general, and our clinics are no exception to the rule ”explains the Ramsey group, owner of the Cedars clinic (but also of the Union and Quint clinics).
Another argument put forward by the company, the cost of investment companies in recent months. “We increased the parking capacity by creating 200 additional spaces,” explains the Ramsey group. As for the Occitanie clinic in Muret, the capacity for cars has “almost doubled”.
Special rates implemented
Like the Purpan hospital before them, the two clinics have set up different pricing. The goal is not to penalize patients. For example, at Les Cèdres, the first half hour is free, and there is a monthly subscription of 9 euros for people with chronic pathologies. “Patients receiving treatment with stable as well as people in handicap do not pay, ”says the Ramsay group.
Yes Medipole for example has for the moment remained at free parking, it is one of the only clinics in this case throughout the department.
