Beaten and robbed in Piazza dei Cavalieri
A man assaulted two off-site students at 7 am. One was broken a bottle on the head, then escaped and arrested
PISA – Violent episode in the center. It happened at 7 this morning, when a 31-year-old SenegaleseI, with precedents, has assaulted two off-site students, in Piazza dei Cavalieri, snatching an iPhone from one of the boys and then hitting them with fists.
One of the two has split a bottle on the head (30 days of prognosis), the other caused a scar on the face (9 days of prognosis and some stitches on the face). In the escape he crossed paths with two friends of the students and, in the struggle, he took to one of them wallets.
The intervention of the police, who scoured the area, managing to intercept the robber in the botanical garden area. The young man was arrested. He has precedents for crimes against property and drugs, also committed in Central Italy and with an order to expel him from the national territory imposed on him by the Rome police chief. At the end of the formalities he was arrested for aggravated robbery, serious injuries and also reported for non-compliance with the expulsion.
