We receive and publish the letter from Mrs. Annasilvia Gamberini that has reached our editorial office:

“Good morning,

I would like to report what happened yesterday, Wednesday 27 October, on one of my properties in Valle Sant’Anastasio (Italy), bordering Fiorentino (Rsm), for the purpose of writing an article on your site.

Between the access gate and the house some workers are working on my work for the arrangement of the little road.

At one point some hunters from Florentine arrived, San Marino people, all equipped with rifles, who passed my gate regardless of the private property sign, the hunting prohibition sign and the fact that crossing the state border and therefore not granting any authorization to hunt in Italy, they could not respect the minimum distances by law from roads and houses. One of them made his nice post on the side of the private path before the house, waiting for a possible wild boar to escape from my garden towards the gate.

The workers complained about the danger of the situation, but the hunters replied that all they asked the workers not to make disturbing noises!

They stayed until my husband, in the afternoon warned him workers of the situation, he reported to the Carabinieri of Rimini, Riccione, Novafeltria, Macerata Feltria and to the Italian and San Marino Forestry and went to the place where to make them go away he had to insist and call the San Marino Gendarmerie directly.

Only then did they abandon private property without exception.

I avoid any comment but I feel that every reader will reflect on behavior of these people and on the anachronism of an incompatible practice in an urbanized territory like ours.
